The Crazy Duck Pond!

Today is Grandma Sullivan's 85th birthday! To celebrate, yesterday we went to Golden Corral with all of the extended family. I was sad I didn't get a picture of Grandma yesterday but then I found this one Jillyn posted on her blog. Score! Hope she doesn't mind I stole it!

~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA! ~

After dinner we thought it would be fun to hit up what the boys like to call "The crazy duck pond." Really though, these ducks are crazy! They are so used to being fed all of the time that they will just go up to you and try to eat right out of your hand. I was surprised Jacee actually enjoyed it. She normally gets scared if any animal gets too close to her. She did get scared still but not like I figured she would. We all had a great time feeding the ducks, walking around the trail, and of course playing on the slides. I'm so glad Allison snapped some pictures at the park. Thanks Allison!

Mornin' Strollin'

This morning when we were on our walk, I realized all the fun little things these kids do to keep themselves entertained while I am pushing. The boys love Jeeps. Every time we pass a Jeep, you hear one of them yell JEEP! They will point at the Jeep and yell what the color is. Jacee even has down what a Jeep is now. When they see a Fedex truck they all yell FEDEX! They love looking for their dad driving around even though it's rarely ever him. When they see a UPS truck, they will automatically start booing the truck and giving it the thumbs down. I wonder who taught them that one?? HA! They also like to point out the slug bugs. I haven't taught them to slug each other yet. I'm not sure how well that would go.. Not only do they notice all of their surroundings,  but they like to sing primary songs. Their favorite one to sing is the "Pioneer children sang as they walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked.................." That is their version of the song. Ha!  These kids really do enjoy going on their walks. This morning Jacee even brought me my jogging shoes to let me know that she was ready to go!

St. George has THE best weather this time of year and we have to take advantage of it!

Randoms...

~ JACEE ~

Every night when Jacee goes to bed, she looks something like this. The lamb pillow under her head, the dog snuggled up to her side, a blanket on top of her, her pacifier in her month, and of course her lamb. She sure knows how to relax and get comfy.

On another note, she started nursery a few Sunday's ago. How is she doing with it all...? She likes it... as long as all the kids are giving her what she wants!! AHHH! She totally does not do good at all. She doesn't want her mama to leave her side.  She thinks she's the boss in there. Oh what oh what am I going to do!!!

============================================

~ COHEN ~

Cohen is as busy as ever. Holy COW this boy never slows down! The one thing that normally will get him to lay down for a few minutes is the Innotab (a little kids iPad) Cannon got for Christmas. It was pretty funny when I caught him playing it under the coffee table.

Cohen is laying in bed singing right now. He's singing at the top of his lungs "Today is church day! We went to church today. We don't go to church next church day!" It's pretty funny. I'm pretty sure he's just trying to get Cannon's goat. I'm surprised it's not working...

===============================

~ Cannon ~

Cannon sure knows how to relax after a big day. By the end of the night, he enjoys laying down and watching a good show.

He's been into riding my 2 wheel scooter over the baby 3 wheel scooter lately. He actually prefers it over his bike which I'm really surprised by.

Cannon is really becoming such a kid. It's weird to see him riding his bike up the street yelling to me he's going to go see if his friends are out playing. I can't believe we're at the age where he wants to be playing outside with friends all the time. Not so lucky for him though is that I never let him go out by himself to play. Just can't do it. I like to always have my eagle eye on that boy!

Both Cannon and Cohen have their dad figured out. If it is time for bed and they notice a Jazz game on, they will ask him if they can stay up and watch it. How can Clint turn that down? The boys will sit on the coach and just watch because they know otherwise they have to go to bed. It's pretty funny.

All three of them sure know how to work it. They know just what to do to get what they want... most of the time..

Thanks

Thanks again Grandma Gaye and Aunt Colleen for watching these two boys while Clint, Jacee and I went to Vegas for my last birthday fun. I got to stretch it out all week. Oh ya baby!

Thank you Clint for taking me to Vegas. I sure do love this little tradition!!

Paaarty!

Clint and I had plans to have a little family birthday party. We were going to grill some hotdogs and have some cake with the kids. Last minute (seriously though we gave everyone 5 minute notice) we decided we would invite Clint's family over for the party. Colleen was nice enough to run to the store to get a few extra things for us. We ate and hung out. It was a grand ol' time.

Jacee was in heaven having Anna around. Another girl to boss the boys around with!

I made the cake from scratch. It looks pretty bad but it tasted goooood!
Love this pic. Mama's and their babies. Cannon wanted to be in it too. Why not right?

We moved the party to the front yard. The kids rode bikes and scooters.

Thanks for coming everyone!

Eek!  Where did time go!?
I thought now that I am 25 and all, it would be appropriate for me to write done 25 things I'm thankful for. Here we go!

2- Of course my kids. They are my world.

6- Sister in-laws. They are some of my best friends.
7- The gospel of Jesus Christ. When I'm having a good or bad day, I know it's always there for me.
8- My home. It may be small but I kinda like it that way.
9- My healthy body. I love to exercise.
10- My job. Best. Job. Ever. Staying home with my 3 favorite kids is exactly what I need to be doing right now.
11-  Pictures. I never want to forget what my kids cute little faces look like.
12- My friends. I've always been blessed with the best of them.
13- The sunshine. Sounds cheesy but it makes me happy.

18- Primary. I'm not in it but I'm grateful for what it teaches my kids. I wish I was in it!
19- My big 4 seat stroller. I'm glad I have it and that it allows me to get out with my kids.

Blue Angels

Instead of buying tickets and going to the airport to watch the Blue Angels, we opted to save a little money and just invade Grandma and Grandpas house.
They live right below the new airport. It was a fun afternoon. We brought out my dad's four-wheelers again, had a picnic, and watched Jacee and her two cousins play. (Of coarse we watched the airplanes/jets too!)

Jacee and her cousin Elliott spent some good time playing in the bed of the little red truck.

They had even more fun playing inside the truck! Pushing buttons and doing all those things they always want to do in the car but never can.

Nico as cute as ever!
The little one's enjoying a Twinkie!

Jacee was all tuckered out by the end. Grandma Sullivan and her friend came out to watch too. They sat in their car most of the time. I snuck this sweet pic of them. Hahaha! Perfect seats!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The boys got lucky though and got to watch at the airport with Pa and Mema. They said the boys loved it. They were scared at first but then warmed right up to it all.

Sitting down waiting for the show to start. Sup Chad.

They got to check out the airplanes before the show started. My mom said they also got to jump in some jump houses, and ride some little rides. Lucky!

It was a fun day!

The Crazy Leprechaun!

While we were sleeping last night, a Leprechaun came to our house and did some crazy things. Here are a few of the things we found when we woke up:

-He took all the boys green legos and built a house with them.
-He set up a fun breakfast for us in the garage.
-He put up some crazy streamers in the hallway.
   -He turned our milk green.
-He stood on our toilet and peed green in it! Really? What the....?
-He left footprints leading to our garage so we knew where he had set up our breakfast.
-He turned our eggs green. Nasty!
-Lastly, he had a scavenger hunt set up for the kids. For their prize, they found green balls for the boys and a yellow ball for Jacee!

We had a great morning thanks to that crazy leprechaun!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
